This is a very short book. Even I, with my habit of DNFing books for lack of time, managed to end this in an afternoon. Written very but, it's plainly meant to convey information rather than for literary merit. Information technology is an like shooting fish in a barrel read written for broad entreatment, a straightforward account of people influenced by demonic entities, whom Romero has encountered in his habitation city, both while working as an officer in the LAPD and later on. These include people he has encountered incidentally during sp This is a very short volume. Even I, with my habit of DNFing books for lack of time, managed to finish this in an afternoon. Written very merely, it'southward obviously meant to convey information rather than for literary merit. It is an piece of cake read written for broad appeal, a straightforward account of people influenced by demonic entities, whom Romero has encountered in his home urban center, both while working as an officeholder in the LAPD and afterward. Yous know what, Information technology was pretty good. It was a nice and necessary warning for me to stay away from ouija and the occult and all that stuff. For some time, I felt that maybe Mr. Romero was exaggerating some events. But I did my research and plant some more testimonies that match up to this book. I liked it!

This was a quick read on spiritual warfare based on the author's time as a Los Angeles county sheriff and after as a Catholic apologist and his encounters with the diabolical. The ending chapters included means nosotros tin can arm up with God's armor and Word to fight against the evil in this world.
A word of caution... I would suggest Non reading the chapters on his encounters with demonic possession before bed! It does sound though that L.A. has a lot of diabolical action and that some of information technology I take not been aware of, such as curses and shops that sell "magic" items. Sounds similar a breeding ground for the enemy to flourish.

I can't believe this volume has 4.8 stars. The author's writing is incredibly elementary the book can be read and finished in a day past a 2d grader. From a literary point of view the book is very uncomplicated. This should take been at the most a glorified pamphlet or a long weblog post. This shouldn't count equally a book. Excellent collection of personal experiences from a former police force enforcement officer, well rooted in his Cosmic religion. For those who do not believe there is such affair as satan and his hordes roaming the globe seeking the ruin of souls, I recommend you read this volume and open your mind to the dangers we face up in this world from the evil spiritual forces. His encounters with the devil are interesting although I feel that there is a lot more I would like to know about each case and other cases from people he talked to. What happened to those people that were cured? Why are Mexican folks more likely to exist afflicted by the devil? It feels like an incomplete story.

I heard Jesse Romero speak at a Women's conference. His real life experiences with Satanic serial killers and the possessed was riveting. His book really makes you lot recall about the spiritual earth around u.s.. We underestimate demonic activity to our detriment and neglect to appeal to our angels. Thought provoking read!

Great book and easy read. The greatest lie of the devil is that he isn't real. Had to read it during the day LOL. I really liked that Jesse Romero backed his facts with biblical citations. I really wish they would translate this volume in Castilian since a lot of the Hispanic culture can fiddle in the occult if one is not careful. Looking forrad to reading more of his books. Not bad book and piece of cake read. The greatest prevarication of the devil is that he isn't real. Had to read it during the day LOL. I really liked that Jesse Romero backed his facts with biblical citations. Great book. Very interesting. And so many people are giving themselves over to evil through the occult and need our prayers. Jesse also gives good advice on staying close to Our Lord and Our Lady, staying in a state of grace and receiving the sacraments frequently.

Amazing book!

Corking souvenir for Halloween season and all twelvemonth effectually!

Short, interesting and scary. Withal, I find it curious that Mr. Romero himself freed many people from some serious demonic possessions without being an exorcist or a priest or both. I thought it was unsafe to deal with this as a lay person.

Quick read. Center opener. Scary encounters but ultimately reassuring. Jesse provides much spiritual guidance, with scriptural bankroll, to aid to avert the occult and live a righteous, God-fearing life.

Mr. Romero is very detailed with his personal encounters with the enemy. He confirms that nosotros are in a spiritual battle and gives cursory advice on what to do if nosotros should ever see the same affair!

Diabolical encounters!

A really quick read because it was then interesting to read near how demons are so prevalent in a culture! I really enjoyed all the stories knowing that they were true made it even more than fascinating.

I enjoyed the true life stories at the start of this volume - which was my chief reason for reading information technology, I as well enjoyed reading a the explanations on Santa Muerta and Maximon. After rediscovering his Cosmic roots, Jesse studied and prayed his way back to a fervent on-going do of the Catholic Faith. Through his experiences with non-Catholics and fallen-away Catholics alike, Jesse is well-versed on all Cosmic issues and topics and, equally a bilingual speaker, and specializes in evangelization, youth events, apologetics seminars, conferences of all sizes, and bible studies.

Every bit the proud parents of Paul, AnnMarie, and Joshua, Jesse and his wife Anita have been happily married for 28 years.
